The Aprilia RSV4 RFs rider Lorenzo Savadori dominated authoritatively as "King of Romagna" the home race outclassing all the opponents from the first turn. A few turns after start Lorenzo Savadori overtook his team mate and with an impeccable interpretation of the track brought home the win astride his Aprilia RSV4 RF, dominating the race till finish. With this win Lorenzo takes his advantage to thirty-four points ahead of the closest contender with fifty points still up for grabs in the championship.
Savadori #32: “My guys were waiting for me below the podium with a nice T-shirt that had a crown and the words ‘King Of Romagna’ on it. I want to thank them because this win is a result of everyone's work. We are a very strong team! I am very happy with this magnificent result for me, for the team and for Aprilia. It was a really hard race because the track conditions changed during the race. There were four of us at the front and I realised straight away that the rider behind me didn't have a better pace than mine. I was able to hold onto the race lead with my Aprilia RSV4 RF until the chequered flag and it was a great satisfaction. I don't want to think about the championship. I'm working together with Aprilia on an important project to improve this fantastic bike more and more. There is a lot of time before the Jerez round, so now I'll take a few days of holiday before getting back to some hard training.
