Lorenzo Savadori (Nuova M2 Racing Aprilia) scored a good second place in fifth round of Superstock FIM Cup. After three consecutive victories, Having started from second position on the grid (1'44.669), the rider of Aprilia RSV4-RF took less than a lap to grab the top with a detached millimeter on the pole-man Tamburini. After being passed by BMW rider Savadori controlled carefully his second spot till checkered flag.
Lorenzo Savadori #32: "Without a doubt one of my best races this season, we were not fully in place and the rain fall day in complicated strategies. Challenging race, I tried to push once conquered the summit then I opted for the uselessness to assume risks in key standings. I am satisfied, a result that I dedicate to my mother, thanks to all the team Nuova M2 Racing Aprilia Racing, the sponsors and the fans who call in bulk at Misano in two weeks. "
Twenty precious points were gained to defend adequately the championship lead of Savadori who commands the ranking Superstock 1000 FIM Cup with 115 total points.
